The BP plan called for submitting annual progress reports to DEC. |

Based upon the reports titled "BOC Fuel Station Remediation Project, 1997 Soil Sampling and Analysis Results" dated March 14, 1998, information provided by Geosphere titled "BP BOC Vehicle Refueling Facility Remedial Action, 1997 Site Closeout Soil Sampling Results" dated March 3, 1998, previous submittals and personnal communications between ADEC staff and BP staff, ADEC issued a no further remedial action letter. Data submitted showed that all eight confirmation samples met the Table II North Slope Numeric Cleanup levels for a diesel spill. ADEC also noted that if in the future, additional contamination is found, that ADEC may request further cleanup work. ADEC also informed BP that it did not object to BP disconnecting and decommissioning the BOC remediation system. |
