Problems/Comments

Waste oil, grease, and hydraulic fluid used in vehicle maintenance at site. Waste oil was spilled. Lot 17A, Block 2, Alaska Industrial Subdivision. Last staff assigned was Vickaryous.

7/26/1991 Cleanup Plan Approved (Old R:Base Action Code = RAPR - Remedial Action Plan Review (CS)). ESL sent in QAPP along with a corrective action plan for ADEC approval. Plan approved and verbal approval given on QAPP for contaminated site even though it was for UST/LUSTs, Municipality landfill okay for disposal but must wait for sample results to see if it meets disposal criteria. 12/4/2006 Site Closure Approved The Department of Environmental Conservation, Contaminated Sites Program (ADEC) reviewed the administrative records associated with Sig Wold Transfer and Storage. This site had been contaminated by the release of hazardous substances. However, based on the information provided to date, ADEC has determined that the Sig Wold Transfer and Storage site shall be closed because the hazardous substance contamination has been adequately addressed.
