TCR Sample Results
Sample results are based on analysis of water samples
by laboratories or field equipment. Typically, Total Coliform Rule (TCR)
sample results identify the presence of Total Coliform bacteria. Total
Coliform are bacteria used to measure the microbial quality of drinking
water. Although Total Coliforms are usually not pathogenic (disease causing)
themselves, their presence in drinking water indicates that fecal pathogens
may also be present. Fecal Coliforms are a subset of the Total Coliform
group, with Escherichia coli (E. coli) being one of several
groups categorized as Fecal Coliform.
This web page
lets you view information about all the TCR sample results (Analyte Code
