As applicable under the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) "Guidance for Enhancing Public Awareness of State Revolving Fund (SRF) Assistance Agreements", issued June 3, 2015, Alaska Clean Water Fund (ACWF) and Alaska Drinking Water Fund (ADWF) projects which are designated as an "equivalency" project will be subject to this requirement. An "equivalency" project are those projects funded under either the ACWF or ADWF in which reimbursement is documented in receipt of each programs annual federal capitalization grant. To meet public noticing/signage requirements under the guidance, the State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program has chosen to list detailed project notices under this web page. Project notices for each Intended Use Plan (IUP) year starting with state fiscal year 2016 can be referenced below.

EPA is implementing an agency-wide initiative focused on signage to enhance public awareness of EPA assistance agreements nationwide. The intention of this effort is to communicate the positive impact and benefits of EPA funding around the country and increase awareness surrounding the improvements communities receive as a result of SRF assistance. Projects implemented with Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) monies are included in this initiative. The primary objective is to enhance public understanding of the positive benefits of CWSRF and DWSRF funding to towns, cities, municipalities and water systems.
