Air Pollution in Alaska Communities

This is a list of Alaskan communities that are formally designated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as Nonattainment or Maintenance Areas or that near or regularly exceed the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Particulate Matter (PM2.5 and PM10) are the top criteria pollutants impacting the state.
