Draft Residue Criteria Public Notice

The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 18 Chapter 70 of the Alaska Administrative Code dealing with Water Quality Standards. DEC proposes to change the current water quality criteria for residues in fresh and marine waters by amending 18 AAC 70.020 (b)(8) and (20) and Note 13. The proposed changes are consistent with federal Environmental Protection Agency guidance.
