Community-Based Air Monitoring Project

Please note: The sensor map has moved! You can find it at the AQI link below.

DEC is in the process of deploying QuantAQ MODULAIRâ„¢ sensor pods to communities throughout Alaska as part of a Community-Based Air Monitoring Project. The pods measure multiple parameters, including particulate matter, gaseous, and meteorological, using "low-cost" sensor technology. Their data quality does not meet rigorous regulatory requirements and should not be compared to regulatory instruments or health-based standards. The data are useful for tracking real-time conditions and displaying trends.
