Service Description: This service is provided by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation-Drinking Water Program and identifies all the public water systems in Alaska that currently have an open/active Boil Water or Do Not Drink Notice. Questions regarding specific notices should be directed to the DEC staff assigned to the public water system. To find the ADEC- Drinking Water Program staff contact, click on the water system and review the attributes associated with the water system.
The information is dynamic and pulls directly from the Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS). All public water Systems placed on a Boil Water and Do Not Drink Notice will be identified in the service immediately after the notice is entered in SDWIS.
