This data set displays the locations of Geographic Response Strategies (GRS) throughout the State of Alaska. GRS are site-specific response plans tailored to protect sensitive areas threatened by an oil spill. They are designed to save time during the critical first few hours of an oil spill response by identifying sensitive areas and providing guidance on where to place oil spill protection resources.
