Animal Health (18 AAC 36): Proposed Revisions to Animal Care, Animal Importation, and Disease Control

The Department of Environmental Conservation proposes to make changes to the Animal Health Regulations to require a unique trackable and traceable number to animal health certificates and certificates of veterinary inspections, adding goat and sheep Mycoplasma ovipneumoniae testing requirements prior to animal import, updates to disease reporting requirements, and to update the adopted by reference American Veterinary Medical Association’s Guidelines from the 2013 to the 2020 version.
