Open Comment Periods for Public Notices
Public comments are a protected right for the public to make their voices heard and provide input on certain proposed government actions. There are no special qualifications necessary to submit a comment. Anyone has the power to have their voice heard! You just need access to a computer or a pen and paper.
DEC's open comment periods are listed below. Follow each link to learn more about the proposed projects including associated documents or web pages, and the preferred submission method.
