Here are ways to reconnect with your dog:
- Visit the Typhoon Halong Missing and Found Dogs website.
- Call or text the Statewide Pet Help Hotline to leave a message about a missing dog or to report dogs in need in the affected areas: 907-615-8904.
- Visit the following Facebook pages for shelter updates and photos of found dogs.

Upcoming Deadline for Unclaimed Pets from Typhoon Halong – December 15, 2025
Approximately 20 dogs evacuated from Typhoon Halong remain unclaimed. Owners must come forward by December 15, 2025 to claim their pet. After this deadline, unclaimed dogs will be spayed/neutered and made available for adoption to new owners. Owners with dogs in long-term foster care are also required to check in with Anchorage Animal Care and Control (907-343-8138) by this date.
