- FDA blueprint “new era of smarter food safety”. 4 focuses, mention 3 today: Smarter tools for prevention and outbreak response, talk about new business models and how affect regulation of retail facilities (ghost kitchens), Online ordering and delivery becoming the norm, creating and cultivating food safety in businesses.
- 2022 FPTF Educational Workshop April 12 & 13, 2022

- Spring workshop presentations and videos posted
- Review survey responses- will be sent to workshop planning committee.

- Presentation:- Gastrointestinal Outbreak in Hospital Staff- August 2021, presented by Jeremy Ayers, FSS Section Manager

- Brian Himlelbloom – Workshops with Alaska Seagrant. Seafood HACCP Part 2 11/5/21 virtual.
- Coburn – Havemeister Dairy is now out of business. Had been in operation since 1935. Alaska Range Dairy in Delta and Heritage dairy in Kodiak now operational. Produce – 2 growing trainings 11/14 (tentative in person) and 12/2-3/21. (virtual)
- Darcy Harris – also received FDA equipment grant, trying to get assembly to approve. 2 employees full time pandemic response so little short staffed. Still working on risk factor assessment study.
- Katie Hubbard – ANMC adapt operations for hospital cafeteria and retail. NMS is contractor and done a great job. Chef Amy Foote traditional foods on news this weekend and NY times doing an article
- Robbie Mixon – Food policy conference 3/18-19-22 (maybe virtual). Abstract portal open 12/10/21.
