Tick Outreach Materials
Veterinarians, hunting organizations, outdoor stores, environmental educators, and many others can support the Alaska Submit-A-Tick Program by distributing educational materials about ticks and tick-borne diseases. Feel free to download any of the materials below for educational use.
Flyers and Posters
Do we have ticks in Alaska? (PDF 449K) – Poster (18x24 inch) for vet clinics to remind clients to ask about flea and tick prevention when traveling out of state.
We Are On The Hunt For Ticks (PDF 1.2M) – Poster (18x24 inch) for hunting stores or Alaska Department of Fish and Game offices to let hunters know how to submit ticks they find on hunted animals.
Alaska Submit-A-Tick Biologist (PDF 1.1M) - Poster (11x16 inch) for wildlife research organizations with information for biologists about the Alaska Submit-A-Tick Program and integrating tick checks into their wildlife research.
