Product/ Quantity: 70 gallons of diesel fuel. Smaller amounts of antifreeze, motor oil, and transmission fluid were also released.
Cause: Traffic accident. A semi trailer truck hit a school bus at a railroad crossing. The school bus did not have passengers on-board at the time of the accident. The school bus driver was taken to the hospital and released. The driver of the truck was not hurt. The saddle tanks of the truck ruptured and released approximately 70 gallons of fuel. Unknown but smaller quantities of motor oil, antifreeze and transmission fluid were also released from both the bus and the truck.
