- Alyeska Pipeline Service Company (APSC) discovered the spill at 8:20 AM and reported the spill to the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) at the Joint Pipeline Office at approximately 9:10 AM, January 9, 2007.

- Alyeska Pipeline Service Company (APSC) reported that approximately 400-500 gallons of crude oil spilled from the Trans Alaska Pipeline (TAPS) at Remote Gate Valve (RGV) 32.

- A loose valve on a 2” threaded o-ring (TOR).
