- Incident occurred at approximately 12:00pm on November 12, 2016. BSL reported the spill to ADEC at 12:30pm on November 12, 2016.

- The spilled product is Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD). BSL has determined that the amount of product released is 276 gallons, after comparing metering ticket from loading the trailer to the volume recovered.
- Cause
- BSL tanker and trailer lost traction when attempting to stop for wildlife and hunters on the road, causing trailer to start fishtailing. Once the trailer, still attached to the tractor, had pivoted enough to depart the highway it released from the hitch due to a safety feature to prevent both the tractor and trailer from leaving the roadway. The trailer then rolled over and its vapor rail ruptured.
