- The spilled product is ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD). Based on a gauging of the lightered product on January 10, 2017, Colville estimates that the spill volume is approximately 4,300 gallons was released.
- Cause
- A tractor-trailer departed the roadway (exact cause to be determined), rolled over, and an unknown object along the ditch line punctured the affected compartment of the main/lead trailer.
