Minor Sources (triennial) These are facilities/sources that do not meet the NEI definition of Type A or Type B DEC has limited emission information from the sources listed below. DEC is contacting these sources to assist with NEI emissions data collection and reporting. Not all permits and facilities will have the same reporting requirements. Major/Title V, A, and B Sources have more required reporting elements than the Minor, ORL, and PAEL permit types.

Anticipated DEC schedule (schedule subject to change)

Each year by April 30th, Annual EI Reporting sources may either submit their completed reporting forms electronically to ADEC via AOS portal (Major/Title V A Sources only); or using Airreports or by mail.
Every third year by April 30th, (2024, 2027, etc.) Triennial EI Reporting Sources (Major/Title V A and B sources, and those meeting the Fairbanks PM_2.5 Non-Attainment Area reporting requirements may either submit their completed reporting forms electronically to ADEC via AOS portal or using Airreports or by mail.
Coming in early 2024, Minor Sources will be receiving formal notification of emissions reporting requirement, pursuant to Alaska State Statutes 46.14 and Alaska Administrative Code 18 AAC 50.200 and 50.346.
April 30, 2021, DEC Minor Source Emission Report Information Requests are due. Minor sources may submit the forms using Airreports or by mail.
