2026 Seafood and Shellfish Permit Renewals
Pre-filled 2026 renewal applications for seafood and shellfish permits were emailed on October 1, 2025, from noreply@usasafeinspect.com with License Renewal in the subject.
Please add noreply@usasafeinspect.com to your contacts. If you did not receive your renewal, check your spam and junk folders. If you cannot find the renewal email in your spam or junk folder, contact us at seafoodprocessing@alaska.gov.
Renewing Your Permit
- Review, update, and email a signed copy of the renewal letter to the appropriate address:
- Seafood operators will email seafoodprocessing@alaska.gov
- Shellfish operators will email dec.shellfish.processing@alaska.gov
- Pay for your renewal using an existing account on the online portal
- If you are new to the portal, follow the Renewal Instructions for Seafood and Shellfish Permits
Renewals will be processed once both payment and a signed renewal are received. Electronic signatures are accepted!
Registering for Seafood and Shellfish Email Lists
This announcement was also sent via email to those on the Seafood and Shellfish email lists. Email addresses for active permit holders are automatically added, but you must confirm your subscription via the confirmation email.
Please check your inbox or spam folder for a confirmation from one or both of the following addresses:
- Seafood operators will receive a confirmation email from dec-seafood-request@list.state.ak.us
- Shellfish operators will receive a confirmation email from dec-shellfish-request@list.state.ak.us
If you cannot find the confirmation email or wish to register another email address, use the links below to register and respond to the confirmation email to activate your subscription.
