BPXA H Pad Well 8 Three Phase Flowline Spill

- The incident started at 2:30 p.m. on April 28, 2014, when natural gas, crude oil and produced water began escaping from the line. The line was isolated and depressurized at 4:30 p.m., at which point the release stopped.

- Natural gas and produced water containing crude oil were released. The spill volume according to BPXA was approximately 700 gallons.
- Cause
- The exact cause of the release is still under investigation, the ruptured section of line was removed in September of 2014.
