The Disaster Response Plan describes the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) responsibilities and procedures for assisting the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHS&EM) in responding to various disaster emergencies under the State of Alaska Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). The plan ensures a coordinated effort to provide assistance to first responders, communities, local and tribal governments, and State and Federal agencies in the response and management of disaster emergencies.
