Alaska Clean Water State Revolving Fund

Priority Criteria for Nonpoint Source Clean Water Projects

WATER QUALITY CONSIDERATIONS - PROTECTION OF UNIMPAIRED WATERBODY POINTS
The goal of the proposed project is prevention of nonpoint source water pollution in an unimpaired waterbody (Category 2, Category 3, or uncategorized) as reported in the Integrated Report. 60
This project has minimal impact protecting water quality. 0

Water Quality Considerations - Restoration of Impaired Waterbody:  The goal of the proposed project is to reduce pollution/improve water quality in a waterbody identified as impaired or polluted (Category 4 or Category 5) in the Integrated Report.

WATER QUALITY CONSIDERATIONS – RESTORATION OF IMPAIRED WATERBODY POINTS
This project will reduce pollution to the waterbody specifically related to the impairment. 75
This project will reduce pollution to the waterbody that may not be specifically related to the impairment. 50
This project has minimal impact on restoring water quality. 0
PROJECT READINESS POINTS
100% design plans and specifications have been finalized and fully detailed for bidding or construction. Documentation is required. 25
65% preliminary plans, specifications and cost estimate have been developed. Documentation is required. 20
35% preliminary plans have been developed. Documentation is required. 15
Projects that can demonstrate authorization to incur debt through an assembly/council resolution or through successful voter authorization, as appropriate. 10
