Informal Review Requests – Environmental Health Division
If you have received a final decision from the Department related to an Environmental Health Division program, you may have the option to request an informal review by the Division Director.
An informal review is a process established in regulation (18 AAC 15.185) that allows individuals to request reconsideration of certain Department decisions, such as permits, certifications, or enforcement actions. Requests must be submitted within 20 days of the decision.
For full details on the process, including eligibility and requirements, please visit the Department’s Informal Review guidance page.
If you are requesting records for a specific property, please contact cs.submittals@alaska.gov.
