Cruise Ship Registration

The annual Cruise Ship registration allows you to complete your application, as well as the option to attach supporting documents, online through EDMS. Cruise ships may also opt to pay online through EDMS after submittal of their application. Applicants are required to print out and either upload or submit by mail an original notarized vessel owner or operator's signature page.

All Commercial Passenger Vessels must register annually. Vessels that opt to discharge in Alaska waters have additional requirements. Commercial Passenger Vessels with 50 to 249 passengers must apply for a Best Management Practices Plan in order to discharge wastewater. Commercial Passenger Vessels that carry 250 passengers or more must apply for authorization to discharge under the General Permit. The current General Permit has been administratively extended. General Permit information is available on the cruise ship program GP web page.
