ACWA Projects 2023 - 2025
DEC is pleased to award 18 Alaska Clean Water Actions (ACWA) grants to organizations across the state to protect or improve the quality of local waterways. The federally funded grants focus efforts on waters in greatest need of water quality protection and restoration. New this year ACWA included funds specifically for addressing stormwater runoff by designing and installing low-impact development projects. The projects will begin no earlier than March 2023 and must be completed by March 2025. The next ACWA Request for Proposals cycle begins in fall 2024. Read about the awarded projects here.
