Approved Prerequisite Courses for Provisional Level Certification

Provisional Level certification requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and either three months of operating experience or completion of a department-approved course which includes the prerequisite courses below. View other department-approved prerequisite courses on the training calendar. Approved prerequisite courses are shaded in yellow on the calendar.

Note: You only need to complete one of the prerequisite courses under the system type for which you are seeking provisional level certification.
